It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ty Jelke, a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, and dedicated nurse. Ty, son of Tim Jelke and Jana & Kory Bauer, departed this world on February 16, 2024 at the age of 35 in Austin, TX. He is leaving behind a legacy of compassion, love for knowledge, and unwavering commitment.
Ty enjoyed growing up in Idaho where he could camp, fish, ride, shoot, and enjoy many aspects of country living.
Ty's educational journey took him to Utah State University and Weber State University which culminated in his achievement of becoming a registered nurse. His strong work ethic and commitment to continuous learning were the driving forces behind his successful career in healthcare.
In his role as a caring nurse, Ty's passion for helping others shined brightly. His innate patience and boundless kindness touched the lives of many as he became not only a healer but also a teacher. Ty was always willing to share his knowledge and extend a helping hand to those in need, leaving a mark on the hearts of both colleagues and patients alike.
Known for his expertise in all things automotive, Ty’s penchant for cars was obvious to all who knew him. He generously shared his knowledge and always came to the rescue when his family or friends were faced with car troubles. Ty cared deeply about his loved ones and his selfless impact reached beyond the garage to help in any way he could.
Ty's love for whistling added a cheerful soundtrack to every moment, a joyful reminder of his vibrant spirit and zest for life. But more than anything, Ty cherished his wife, Allie, who was not just his spouse but his best friend and soulmate. Undoubtedly, the most important part of his life, she was his confidante and a constant source of love and support.
Though Ty's time with us was too brief, the impact of his kindness, knowledge, and incredible work ethic will echo through the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be fondly remembered as a devoted husband, caring son, dependable brother, compassionate nurse, exceptional teacher, master mechanic, and cherished friend. Ty Jelke will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Ty is survived by his loving wife Allie Jelke, parents Tim Jelke, Jana Bauer, and Kory Bauer, and siblings Zac Jelke, Breauna Jelke, and Randy Bauer. He is also survived by his two dogs, Duke and Maya, and one cat, Riley.
A memorial service to celebrate Ty's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 9th at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street, Shelley, Idaho. The family will meet with friends and loved ones at 10:30.
